Community Engagement Coordinator:
This full-time, Omaha-based, position has the awesome job of being responsible for awareness initiatives of the Spirit Catholic Radio Network across the state of Nebraska and Iowa with Catholic schools, parishes, and apostolates/ministries. To facilitate these relationships, you will coordinate a presence at relevant area events, recruit and train volunteers; assign and coordinate resources for events, execute outreach events targeted to the larger listening audience such as semi-annual Care-a-thons, mid-year and year-end appeals, dinners, sticker stops, and open houses, and coordinate delivery of prayer aides and materials. Development Associate:
The Development Associate is a full-time member of the Spirit Catholic Radio development team whose primary functions include the accurate and timely maintenance of constituents’ records, utilizing Raiser’s Edge database software for gift processing, donor record updates, query and report preparation, and event management, including the processing of invitation responses, participant entry, guest seating, and attendee reports. - Bachelor or Associates degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
- Minimum of two years’ experience in a development office desired
- Effective computer skills that include Microsoft Office software; experience with fundraising software and event management preferred.
- Must possess effective communication skills, both written and verbal, and demonstrate organizational, time-management, and decision-making skills.
- Must be able to work independently and demonstrate a spirit of cooperation in a team environment.
