Jim oversees the day-to-day operations of the network. Before joining Spirit Catholic Radio in 2002, he was an assistant vice president at Wells Fargo Bank, director at Applied Communications, Inc. and vice president at First Data Resources. He is a graduate from the University of Nebraska at Omaha and served eight years in the U.S. Naval Reserve Seabees. He and his wife, Karol, have five children and are members of St. Robert Bellarmine Parish in Omaha. Jim has served on the parish council, is an extraordinary minister of Holy Communion, sponsor for the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults program, Christians Encounter Christ retreat participant and member of the Knights of Columbus. He has also served as a member of Serra Club of Omaha, board member for Catholic Professional & Business Club and current chapter coordinator for Legatus of Omaha. Jim has served on the boards of the Catholic Radio Association, EWTN Radio Advisory Council, Mission Advancement Council for the Institute for Priestly Formation at Creighton University in Omaha and advisory board for the St. John Paul II Newman Center at the University of Nebraska at Omaha . His favorite saints are St. James, St. Patrick, St. Therese the Little Flower, St. Francis of Assisi, St. Thomas Aquinas and has a special devotion to Our Lady of Mount Carmel. His favorite programs are Catholic Answers Live and Spirit Mornings.
