BIOGRAPHY

Catholic journalist, broadcaster and author, Al Kresta, hosts a lively, call-in program showing Catholic life through the lens of Scripture and the teachings of the Church. Drawing on his unique, missionary-style background, Kresta brings a personal side to important issues of the Catholic faith. In 2003, he lost his left leg to necrotizing fasciitis, more commonly known as flesh-eating bacteria. His spiritual journey and long recovery through God’s grace have given him new insights into the realities of suffering and hope that he shares with listeners worldwide. Heard each day on more than 350 EWTN radio affiliates, Sirius XM, and multiple webstreams, Kresta in the Afternoon may be the most fascinating and spiritually constructive discussion program on the radio today.
