Father Carlos Martins
is a priest with the Companions of the Cross, a religious community with the charism and mission of evangelization.
A convert from atheism, he discovered Jesus Christ and the Christian faith as an undergraduate. He travels internationally
as an itinerant preacher and is a renowned expert on saints and their relics, having received the ecclesiastical designation of Custos Reliquiarum.

Father Martins is the founder and director of Treasures of the Church, a Vatican-sponsored evangelization ministry utilizing the
saints’ relics. From the outset, healings began to occur at his ministry’s expositions and are reported regularly. A popular apostolate that attracts large crowds, it has ministered to hundreds of thousands domestically and internationally in churches, schools, and prisons.

Through the authority of Pope Francis, the Holy See has issued a Plenary Indulgence applicable to all pilgrims who venerate Saint Jude’s relics.
The Conditions to Receive the Plenary Indulgence:

1. Venerate Saint Jude’s relics: Inside the Church where the relics are displayed, or at
least some¬where on the grounds where they are present, say a prayer of your choosing
(a formal prayer—such as an Our Father—or one made up by you) or make an act of
veneration (e.g., touching the case that houses the reliquary or making the Sign of the Cross).

2. Pray for the Pope: Reciting one Our Father and one Hail Mary satisfies this condition.

3. Receive the Sacrament of Confession within twenty days of visiting Saint Jude’s relics.

4. Receive Holy Communion within the same twenty days while still being free from grave sin.

5. Resolving to end all relationship with sin, even venial (i.e., non-mortal) sin.
