Sts. Peter and Paul will continue its 105-year tradition of celebrating summer by hosting its annual ethnic festival, “The Greatest Festival in Town.” During its first century, this event grew to be one of the largest of the local church festivals, and the tradition continues into its second century. This fantastic summer festival features a MegaBucks $5,000 grand prize drawing, a melting pot of South Omaha’s favorite ethnic foods, beer, rides, prizes, and live music. Sts. Peter and Paul Parish will launch the oldest, largest, and longest-running annual church festival on Sunday, August 7, from noon – 8:00 p.m. on the parish grounds at 36th & “X” Street, Omaha, NE.
