Dr. Peter Martin is speaking at this month’s Lincoln MOMs meeting! A critical and thoroughly Christian way to resolve interpersonal anger is through forgiveness of the person who committed an injustice against you. This talk will discuss how one’s attachment pattern or style can complicate and even compromise the forgiveness journey. The talk will also describe a research-based, 4-phase model of forgiveness that has helped individuals to heal from abortion, childhood abuse, and a number of other wounds. Peter, a licensed psychologist in Nebraska, is the Internship Director of Integrated Training and Formation at Catholic Social Services (CSS) of Southern Nebraska.

Coffee and breakfast snacks provided. Childcare is available with limited spots by signing up via Sign-Up Genius. Please feel free to bring your infant to the meeting if needed. $5-10 free will donation is suggested to help cover the cost of speakers, babysitting, and breakfast!
