This lecture is the first of three events planned for the Newman Institute’s Fall 2020 Reborn in Wonder Lecture Series. The lecture will be given by Dr. Helen Freeh, who holds a Ph.D in literature from Baylor University where she wrote her dissertation on Fate, Providence, and Free Will: Clashing Perspectives of World Order in J.R.R. Tolkien’s Middle Earth.
