Welcome to the St. Stanislaus neighborhood at 41st & J Streets from noon-7pm on Sunday August 18 for the church’s 50th annual Polish Festival. Dozens of volunteers worked all summer creating over 20,000 handmade pierogi (a favorite Polish dumpling filled with kraut, potato, or sweet cheese). In addition, the menu features golabki (cabbage rolls), Polish sausage, hot dogs, burgers and Sloppy Joe’s, and desserts, domestic beer and Zywiec Polish beer.

Four polka bands will play live dance music throughout the day. Popular attractions include the grocery booth, plant booth, cake walk, children’s rides and games, ham/bacon/salami booth, and raffles. Parking is available at Metropolitan Community College South Campus at 2909 Edward “Babe” Gomez Avenue (30th & Q Streets) with a free ride to the Festival on Ollie the Trolley.
