St. Stanislaus Church invites the public to a Lenten Mission beginning Tuesday, April 9 and ending Thursday, April 11 on the liturgical feast of its patron, St. Stanislaus, Bishop & Martyr. The Mission is one of the many parish centennial celebrations scheduled for 2019. Mass is scheduled for 6:30pm each evening at the Church with the Mission talk taking place during the homily. There will be an opportunity for confession on Wednesday, April 10, at 5:30pm prior to Mass. After the final Mission Mass on April 11, the Church’s new shrine to St. Maximillian Kolbe and St. Faustina Kowalska will be dedicated, followed by a light reception in the parish hall across from the Church. The Mission will be presented by V. Rev. Benedict M. La Volpe, OFM Conv, rector and guardian of the National Shrine of St. Maximillian Kolbe at Marytown, Libertyville, IL.
