You are invited to join us at St. Stanislaus Church during this special year of St. Joseph as we host a novena in his honor. Pope Francis noted that many people during the pandemic have made hidden sacrifices to protect others, just as St. Joseph quietly protected and cared for Mary and Jesus. He also highlighted St. Joseph’s role as a father who served his family with charity and humility adding, “Our world today needs fathers.” The novena will feature prayers including the Litany of St. Joseph and a special rosary with meditations about the foster father of Jesus. The novena will begin on Thursday March 11. On weekdays (March 11, 12, 15, 16, 17 and 18) the prayers will be offered at 5:30pm. On Saturday March 13 they will follow the 5pm Mass(approximately 5:45pm; on Sunday March 14 they will follow the 8am Mass(approximately 8:45am). The Novena will close on the Feast of St. Joseph, Friday March 19 at 5:30pm with a special Mass and the novena prayers.
