Today, July 17th begins the Nine Day Novena to St. Anne/Ann/Anna, mother of the Blessed Virgin Mary and grandmother of Jesus Christ. The Feast of St. Anne and her husband St. Joachim are celebrated on July 26th. St. Anne is the patron of childless couples, homemakers and grandparents. She is invoked for safety and healthy childbirth and against sterility. The following Novena is to be prayed from July 17 to July 25th.
