Join us along with members of the MARIA REGINA CLERI Apostolate, Tuesday, October 23 at St. James Catholic Church. Everyone is welcome! We will gather for a brief presentation and time of prayer for our priests: Our meditation will focus on the joys and struggles of the priesthood (especially in light of recent revelations), the bond/relationship between the pastor and his people, and the great need for the laity to respond to the current crisis with prayer for the sanctity, strength, and perseverance of our priests. Welcome – Sherry Brownrigg (emcee) Opening Prayer – Monsignor Bill Whelan Brief History and Mission of the Apostolate – Vicki Herout Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament and a time of prayer for priests – Fr. Tom Weisbecker. After our time of prayer, there will be a short presentation by Sherry Brownrigg on their parish prayer initiative with ideas on how to begin a ministry of prayer for the priest(s) in your parish. Our evening will be guided by the book: Praying for our Priests by Msgr. Peter Dunne. Copies will be available for those in attendance. Light reception to follow.
