Tuesday/Wednesday, August 22nd/23rd – Post Abortion Healing Ministry Orientation
Calling all mental health professionals, clergy, and laity interested in post-abortion healing! The three Bishops of Nebraska are revitalizing the state’s post-abortion healing ministries (PAHM), and we’re building a network of informed, trained professionals and volunteers. Whether you’re a veteran or newcomer to post-abortion healing, you’re invited to a free orientation in Gretna or North Platte to equip you with the tools to support those on their journey of healing after abortion. The Nebraska Catholic Conference is hosting two trainings to accommodate Nebraskans across the state. One of two workshops will be held on August 22nd in Gretna. The second workshop will be held on August 23rd in North Platte, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Local and national professionals will cover topics including understanding abortion and its aftermath, healing through the sacraments, counseling post-abortive trauma, and the future of PAHM ministries in Nebraska.
