Join us Sunday October 28, from 7-9pm at St. James Catholic Church for a panel discussion on the current crisis of sexual abuse and misconduct in the Catholic Church. Our panelists will include: Rev. Scott Hastings, Vicar for Clergy/Judicial Vicar, Archdiocese of Omaha Mary Beth Hanus, Victim Outreach and Prevention Manager, Archdiocese of Omaha Jackie Simmons, Advocacy Program Supervisor, Project Harmony Omaha Sgt. Marlene Novotny, Special Victims Unit– Child Victims Squad Omaha Police Department All are welcome but we would like to stress that this will NOT be a child friendly event as the topics discussed will likely not be appropriate for children and may be difficult for teens and even some vulnerable adults.
