During this time of COVID-19 we are in need more than ever of our Catholic faith and good Catholic priests to guide us. Fr. Michael Voithofer will speak about gratitude and praise in light of Holy Week and during this time of uncertainty and upheaval. Father Michael Voithofer – Associate Pastor Fr. Voithofer was born in 1976 in a small town south of Pittsburgh, PA called Carmichaels where his mother and father still live. He has two brothers Bryan and Timothy. He studied Architectural Engineering at Penn State University and then went to seminary for the Diocese of Pittsburgh. While he was a seminarian he was sent to Rome to study. In Rome he met the Intercessors of the Lamb. He fell in love with the charismatic-contemplative spirituality which the Intercessors of the Lamb lived. He withdrew from the Diocese of Pittsburgh to join the Intercessors in Omaha. Fr. Voithofer has served at St. Robert Bellarmine and St. James before coming to St. Gerald. He is also the founder and spiritual director of Ablaze house of prayer: https://www.ablazeworship.org/ Since we can’t meet physically, this will be a virtual meeting from home.
