A weekend retreat for fathers and their sons ages 11-17 that provides opportunities for deepening the faith of fathers and the growth of pre-adolescent and adolescent boys into mature manhood in the context of the Catholic faith. The weekend includes talks by fathers and sons and lots of one-on-one time. Optional opportunities include Adoration, Sacrament of Reconciliation, Benediction, morning and evening prayer, Mass, hayrack ride, water balloon competition, game night, and fathers against sons dodgeball. Fathers and Sons supports the principle of “building the domestic church” and allows fathers to participate in this with their sons in an enjoyable environment while enhancing their spiritual relationship, personal relationship, and communication.
