Apr. 11-13, Retreat starts Friday with rosary and Mass at 8:00pm, ends Sunday with Noon lunch. This retreat will focus on the Passion of the Lord in anticipation of Holy Week. Fr. Rooney described, “I asked for help in prayer, and the idea came to me to give short reflections to lead people to pray with the Scriptures for the different moments of the Triduum, with a focus on imaginatively entering into the hearts of people in the scene.” The title “Compassion in the Passion” reflects this focus on the heart, especially the Sacred Hearts of Our Lord and Our Lady, pondering all the movements of their hearts during the events of Holy Thursday through Easter Sunday.
