Elizabeth Wellendorf was born and raised Catholic in Omaha, Nebraska.
She attended Christ the King school and then Duchesne Academy of the
Sacred Heart. Elizabeth graduated from Spring Hill College in 2018 with a
Bachelors in Nursing and started working as an Critical Care Nurse.
When the COVID pandemic hit, she saw the needs of nursing willing to
travel and be on the frontlines in the hard hit areas. At the end of the
pandemic, she once again packed her bags but this time went across the
world to be a volunteer in Bethlehem. God called her in the summer of
2022 on her pilgrimage in the Holy Lands, to a home for special needs
children, called Hogar Nino Dios. There she has served the past year and
a half and will continue to do so this upcoming year.
