Creighton University School of Law hosts an annual Red Mass to mark the beginning of the judicial season. Archbishop Lucas will be this year’s celebrant. Red Mass calls upon the Holy Spirit to be present in all members of our legal community to be just guardians of the law and to offer wise counsel. Creighton University School of Law is the only host of Red Mass in Omaha and the only location in Nebraska to host the celebration to coincide with our national Red Mass in Washington, D.C., which marks the beginning of the session for the United States Supreme Court each October. Mass is offered and a reception will follow.
