Spirit Catholic Radio recently welcomed Spirit 91.5 FM – KONL to the Network! Broadcasting roughly 40 miles from a tower located just east of O’Neill, NE, 91.5 is carrying 24/7 Catholic programming to help souls Encounter Jesus!
Recently, Archbishop George J. Lucas of the Archdiocese of Omaha celebrated the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass with parishioners of St. Patrick in O’Neill. During a gathering after mass, Bernie Schaefer, Vice President of Development and Eric Svoboda, Director of Operations, shared some words about Spirit’s programming and Archbishop Lucas spoke about the importance of Catholic radio.
Some then ventured to the actual tower site, where they were given a quick tour of the equipment by Spirit’s Chief Engineer, Mark Voris. Archbishop Lucas, pictured below with Fr. Starman, then performed a blessing on the new tower.
