Life Plan, hosted by Dcn. Bart Zavaletta, Sheridan Banzhaf, and Robbie Miller, strives to attract and form young people into an abiding relationship with Jesus Christ and His Church. Remaining connected to Jesus Christ and connecting other souls to Christ, especially in His Eucharistic Presence, was the life plan of Bl. Carlo Acutis, patron saint of young people and our show. Like Carlo, Life Plan sets out to reach others with formative and thought-provoking conversations about topics young people find interesting and relevant (discernment of spirits, mental health, relationships/dating, self-discovery, working out, leisure/entertainment, prayer, the Bible, and Christian music).

Deacon Bart’s bio:
Deacon Bart was born and raised in South Texas but has called Omaha his home ever since 2010. He and his wife, Erin, are blessed with 5 children. They are members of St. Vincent de Paul parish in Omaha. He teaches Theology at Skutt Catholic high school. He is a passionate teacher who works to re-evangelize and form the youth. He loves the gift of his marriage and family. He believes his consecration to St. Joseph, the patron of husbands, fathers and families, is what inspires him to develop lasting bonds with his wife and children. He also finds the meaning of his life and vocation revealed and fulfilled while assisting and interceding at the Altar of Sacrifice.

Robbie Miller’s bio:
Robbie Miller has been a devoted follower of Jesus Christ since high school. His journey took him through various Protestant denominations before he found the Real Presence of Jesus Christ in the Eucharist of the Catholic Church in 2013. Alongside his wife, Jada, a fellow convert, they’re doing their best to raise their four children in the faith. Robbie’s passion for sharing Christ’s love with teenagers began during his college days, which led him to become a math teacher. He now serves at a public school in Council Bluffs, spreading the light of Jesus to the teens in the hallways and his classroom. Robbie also contributes to his parish, St. Philip Neri-Blessed Sacrament, through the Parish Council, serving as an Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion, and leading small groups. In his free time Robbie enjoys watching the Hoosiers, exploring Biblical connections, and hanging with his family.

Sheridan’s bio:
Sheridan Banzhaf was raised in a small town in central Nebraska where she was involved in numerous school and community activities. She grew up with parents who were educators and brothers who were just as involved as she was. A huge part of her family time was being at church. Sheridan grew up in the Lutheran Church and her love for the Lord and foundation of her faith began to grow at a very young age. Shortly after accepting a new teaching job and moving to Omaha in 2021, many factors led Sheridan to joining the Catholic Church. After a tough few months living in a new city, Sheridan found herself in the back pew of St. Patrick’s Church. This was the start to an incredible journey. Sheridan started attending Alpha where she began to dive deep into her faith life. As the weeks went on, she realized the Lord was calling her to explore the Catholic faith even more. When Alpha ended, Sheridan decided to take the next step and begin RCIA and a few months later was getting confirmed into the Catholic Church at Easter Vigil Mass in 2022. The last three years, Sheridan has been actively involved with youth ministry at St. Patrick’s attending weekly youth groups and different retreats. In the summer of 2024, Sheridan stepped into the role of Young Adult and Youth Minister. It felt like the next best step on the Lord’s path for her. Sheridan loves engaging with youth throughout the Archdiocese and sharing her love of Christ with everyone she encounters.
