Persecuted Church Prayer Vigil - 5 Nebraska Locations (12:00 - noon - 1:00 pm)

On September 26, 2012, Pastor Saeed Abedini, an American pastor, was arrested in Iran while building a government-approved orphanage.  

On September 26th of this year, we are asking Christians across the State of Nebraska to join us in praying for Pastor Saeed's release and for others of the Persecuted Church that need our prayers and support.  

Our desire is to come together in unity as the Body of Christ and pray for those in the Body that are hurting.

Shoot4Life Charity Event (8:00 am - 8:00 am)

The Grand Island community realized there was a need to show support to organizations that promote and defend the most basic of all human rights, the right to life, from conception to natural death. 

Therefore, the Shoot4Life event was conceived as a way for outdoorsmen and women to show their respect for all life.

The Shoot 4 Life Sporting Clays event is a opportunity to hone your shooting skills while trying to shoot 50 clay targets over 75 acres of natural Nebraska prairie habitat.

Holy Family Shrine Concert - Gretna (6:00 pm - 8:00 pm)

The Holy Family Shrine will host a concert by Margaret Cotton on September 27, 2014 at 6pm.

Margaret has performed many times at the Shrine and we are blessed to again hear her beautiful voice as she honors our Lord by singing songs of praise.  There will be a light reception after the concert.

All free will donations go to support the Shrine.

To get to the Shrine take I-80 to exit 432 (Gretna exit), go south 1 mile to Pflug Road, turn right and go west 1 mile on Pflug Road.

The Wahoo/St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church Annual Fall Festival will be  September 28th~ from 10:30am-2:30pm at the Bishop Neumann High School Gym/Cafeteria.
