White Mass & CMA Ethics Conference - Christ The King, Omaha (5:45 pm - 5:45 pm)

 The Annual White Mass will be celebrated by Archbishop George Lucas at Christ the King Church on Friday, October 24th at 5:45 P.M

 This Mass is celebrated for all Catholic physicians, dentists, health care providers, and their families. 

Following the Mass, there will be a dinner and speakers at Christ the King Parish Center.

Dr. Edward and Jeanne Gatz will give their personal testimony of Dr. Gatz’s miraculous cure from esophageal cancer through the intercession of St. Jeanne Jugan.

Soup Supper - St. Joseph, Springfield (5:00 pm - 7:00 pm)

St. Joseph Catholic Church Ladies Guild in Springfield NE will be having their annual soup supper and raffle on Saturday, October 25th.

The meal includes chili or chicken noodle soup, hot dog, dessert and a drink.

Jim Nailon Concert - Holy Family Shrine, Gretna (5:30 pm - 7:30 pm)

HOLY FAMILY SHRINE CONCERT

The Holy Family Shrine is delighted to once again welcome back singer/songwriter Jim Nailon.  Jim performs with his style of singing his own composed music.  With a voice blessed for bringing others to the Lord, Jim reaches others with his faith and love for the Lord.

The concert will start at 5:30pm on Saturday, October 25, 2014.  Please bring your Family and friends to this wonderful evening in the setting of the Chapel at the Holy Family Shrine.  If the weather cooperates and we have clear skies, a beautiful sunset should enhance the evening.  All donations go to the Shrine.  A small reception will follow the concert.

To get to the Shrine take I-80 to exit 432, go south on highway 31 for 1 mile to Pflug Road, turn west onto Pflug Road and go 1 mile.

Family Polka Party - St. Peter Church , Omaha (2:00 pm - 7:00 pm)

Enjoy great food, great friends, and great dance music Sunay Oct 26th when the St. Peter Knights of Columbus host our second annual Family Polka Party. 

Bobby Z. and Polka Joy will provide the music starting at 3 PM. 

Enjoy all of the band’s favorite polkas and waltzes til 7 PM. 

Admission is only $7 per person with a $30 family limit. 

Children 14 and under are free, so bring the kids! 

We’ll have some activities for the kids so that Mom and Dad can do some dancing.

dumplings,
