Business Director
Irene began working at Spirit Catholic Radio part time in January of 2007 with program scheduling software. Over the next several years, her responsibilities at the network grew to include traffic manager (scheduling underwriter spots heard on air, invoicing, assisting Mary Jorgensen), development assistant, and advancement coordinator (helps to coordinate and plan all dinners, mailers, and events done on behalf of the station and helps coordinate volunteers for events and mailers). She has now moved on from a few of those responsibilities (mainly, traffic manager) to take on more as the Business Director. A graduate of V.J. and Angela Skutt Catholic High School in Omaha, she attended Creighton University for one year before transferring to the University of Nebraska at Omaha. She likes to travel, spend time with her nieces and nephew, hang out with her friends, fishing and working with the High School Youth Group at her parish.
