Erin Finken

Community Engagement Coordinator

Erin joined Spirit Catholic Radio in 2024 and serves as a Community Engagement Coordinator. She was born in and resides in Omaha, Nebraska, with her husband and four children. Erin and her husband are members of St. Stephen the Martyr parish, where they have been catechists for many years. She comes to Spirit Catholic Radio with over 20 years of experience in non-profit organizations, volunteer coordination, and event planning. Erin holds degrees in Biology and Behavioral Science and a Master of Arts in Human Services (non-profit management). Her favorite saints are St. Francis of Assisi and St. Bernadette. Erin loves this quote from St. Francis: “It was easy to love God in all that was beautiful. The lessons of deeper knowledge, though, instructed me to embrace God in all things.” and credits learning about St. Bernadette’s life as the first step in her converting to Catholicism as a young adult.

In her spare time, you will find her spending time with her family, enjoying museums, kayaking, traveling, and the outdoors. Her favorite Spirit Catholic Radio programs are Catholic Answers Live and Spirit Mornings, her favorite prayer is the Hail Mary, and some of her favorite Bible verses are: John 3:16, James 2:24, and Proverbs 31:25-26.
