Assistant Engineer
As a broadcast Engineer, Colin is responsible for assisting the Chief Engineer with maintenance of the physical building, maintenance of all transmitter sites for KVSS, KOLB, KJWM, KFJS, KETT, K207BY, K257FK, all affiliate stations, and helping to install and configure any future sites that are built. He also maintains the studios in Omaha as well as building and maintaining remote studios.
Born in Denver Colorado, and raised in Franktown Colorado, he acquired his bachelor’s degree at Metropolitan State College of Denver. He worked and lived all over Colorado as a cellular engineer in the Rocky Mountain region, until becoming a broadcast engineer at a local TV station in Grand Junction. After becoming disenchanted by secular media, Colin came to Spirit Catholic Radio to support a higher calling. Colin has a beautiful wife, Esther, and a young son, Jack. They are all members of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic parish, where Colin is a Knight of Columbus. Colin’s Favorite Saints include Saint Jude, St. Augustine of Hippo, St. Josemaría Escrivá, St. Patrick, St. George, St. Maximilian Kolbe, and Saint Francis of Assisi. His favorite Bible verse is Psalm 23. Colin is an outdoor enthusiast, he enjoys fishing, camping, horseback riding, hunting, sound design/foley, photography/videography, and Flying drones.
