In light of the tremendous trials our Church and people are going through, Fr. Boyd and Fr. Cook invite you to join us in making a novena to Our Lady of Sorrows for nine consecutive nights, Sept. 6-14 from 9 p.m.-10 p.m. in Christ the King Church, Omaha. We will pray in reparation for those wounded from abuse and we will intercede for the Church and her hierarchy. We will implore the healing power of truth and the renewal of chastity in our world. We will pray for a new springtime in the Church and stand with and comfort Our Blessed Mother, who weeps at the sins we all commit against her Son and against each other. The hour will consist of Eucharistic Exposition and Benediction, the rosary of Our Lady of Sorrows, silence, and Night Prayer from the Liturgy of the Hours. Come when you can or come every night to make the whole novena. The novena will conclude with Mass at 8:15 a.m. on the tenth day, Sat., Sept. 15, the Memorial of Our Lady of Sorrows at Christ the King Church, Omaha.
