The 19th signal of the Spirit Catholic Radio Network officially began broadcasting on Wednesday, August 14, 2024. A few days later, Spirit staff joined Bishop Hanefeldt of the Diocese of Grand Island and members of St. Luke Catholic Church in Ogallala to celebrate. Bishop Hanefeldt blessed a crucifix that will hang in the equipment room at the tower site watching over the transmitter. It was an energetic gathering, full of excitement for 24/7 Catholic programming.
