Love And Life Program: I+You=We Married Couples Retreat (8:00 am)

This is a unique couple weekend, combining lectures, workshops and dialogue.

You will be lead through 6 simple steps to help enhance or bring back real joy into your marriage.

The weekend starts with Mass on Saturday morning followed by sessions that explain the first 4 steps.

Participates leave Saturday evening and return again Sunday morning to finish steps 5 and 6 of the program. 

The weekend ends with a special Mass.  

Retreat master, Fr. Jaroslaw (Jay) Szymczak, is from the Institute of the Holy Family, Lomianki, Poland.

Included in the registration fee are detailed Program materials, coffee & rolls, lunch & dinner on Saturday, and coffee & rolls and lunch on Sunday.

CEC Mens Weekend - Cozad (6:00 pm - 6:00 pm)

The Catholics Encounter Christ (Grand Island Diocese) experience is a structured 3-day weekend beginning on Friday evening and concluding on Sunday evening at Camp Comeca in Cozad.  During this weekend you will experience how God’s grace works within you and how you can share this grace with others.  This is accomplished through song, prayer, and talks presented by clergy and laity that inspire, educate, and motivate. The cost is $125 and includes food and lodging.  Pre-registration is required.

Fr. Jim travels throughout the United States giving missions, retreats and days of recollection. Known for his story-telling, Fr. Jim weaves everyday life experiences with the rooted messages which lie within the Gospel.

Fr. Sichko was one of 100 priests in the United States appointed by Pope Francis to a one-year appointment as a Missionary of Mercy. He is a priest of the Diocese of Lexington, KY. Before that he completed his undergraduate work at New England Conservatory of Music in Vocal Performance.

Coping With Life Alone - St. Pius, Omaha (6:00 pm - 7:00 pm)

Sessions help individuals work through the trauma of losing a spouse, whether it is by divorce, separation or death.

Groups meet once a week with a trained group of men and women who are themselves either divorced, separated or widowed.

HUSH Screening - University Of Nebraska Omaha (5:30 pm - 8:30 pm)

 

A viewing and panel discussion of the documentary HUSH, which investigates the long-term health effects of abortion, will be held at the UNO Milo Bail Student Center Dodge Room on March 30, 2017 from 5:30-8:30pm.

After the movie, a panel of medical professionals will be available for comment and question.

She currently hosts the popular daily radio program Food for the Journey with Renewal Ministries.  She is a member of The Servants of God’s Love, a charismatic religious community in the Diocese of Lansing, Michigan.
