LDCCW October Pro-Life Diaper Drive (8:00 am - 8:00 am)

The Lincoln Diocesan Council of Catholic Women is sponsoring the 7th Annual Pro-Life Diaper Drive throughout the month of October.

 Donations are being requested from each of the Diocesan parishes.  

Diapers will be shared in November with Pregnancy Centers and Catholic Social Services throughout the Lincoln Diocese.

Ixim: Guatemala Mission Trip Information Meeting (7:00 pm - 8:00 pm)

GUATEMALAN MISSION TRIP

This is an invitation to open your heart to the love of God on a short term mission trip!

The Archdiocese of Omaha under the leadership of Father Damian Zuerlein began a mission project in 2003.  Ixim:  Spirit of Solidarity is a sister-diocese or twinning relationship between the Archdiocese of Omaha and the Diocese of Huehuetenango, Guatemala. Thirteen groups of volunteer missionaries have traveled from Omaha to Guatemala and worked side by side with the Guatemalan people to improve their living conditions and grow together in faith. This is your opportunity to personally experience this beautiful relationship of faith and solidarity.


The fourteenth trip is being planned for summer 2017!

Business, Faith & The Common Good Symposium With Michael Naughton - Creighton University, Omaha (9:30 am - 3:30 pm)

The Heider College of Business at Creighton University will be holding the third annual "Business, Faith, and Common Good" symposium Friday October 7th at the Heider College of Business, 3rd floor.

Love And Life Program: I+You=We (8:00 am - 8:00 am)

This is a unique couple weekend, combining lectures, workshops and dialogue.

You will be lead through 6 simple steps to help enhance or bring back real joy into your marriage.

The weekend starts with Mass on Saturday morning followed by sessions that explain the first 4 steps.

Participates leave Saturday evening and return again Sunday morning to finish steps 5 and 6 of the program.

7th Annual Rosary Rally to Pray for Our Country

All are invited to join in a Public Square Rosary Rally on Saturday, October 15, 2016, 12:00 noon,

on the northeast corner of 76th & Dodge St.

This is a peaceful, prayerful, nation-wide rally, sponsored by America Needs Fatima, with more than 10,000 public square rosaries planned that day to pray for our country.

This rally is held on the Saturday nearest the anniversary of the Miracle of the Sun, which happened 99 years ago.

Join us in praying, through the intercession of Mary, for a return to a culture of life, for the protection of our religious liberties, for the protection of marriage and for greater morality in our great country.

This is a unique couple weekend, combining lectures, workshops and dialogue.

You will be lead through 6 simple steps to help enhance or bring back real joy into your marriage.

The weekend starts with Mass on Saturday morning followed by sessions that explain the first 4 steps.

Participates leave Saturday evening and return again Sunday morning to finish steps 5 and 6 of the program.
